There are many risks that an outdated website can face such as security breaches or hacking, poor performance and speed, search engine implications, and a sub-par user experience. Just like a car, over time the lack of maintenance compounds and puts your website data at serious risk of being compromised.

No problem at all. After your website has been built, I will package it up and send to you to be uploaded to your hosting. Bloom Digital will not maintain your site after it has been sent it to you.

Bloom Digital builds on the popular CMS, WordPress. They release updates regularly to upgrade their functionality, ease of use and for security fixes. Your website needs to be updated alongside these to keep it secure, as well as any other software installed on your site.
Bloom Digital uses premium WordPress website hosting and adds extra security around your website before launch. Yes, your website data is as secure as it can possibly be.
While we pride ourselves on a robust and secure website care plan, we cannot 100% guarantee protection from website breaches. If your website is hacked, Bloom Digital will fix the issue as soon as possible. Depending on why the website was compromised, this may incur a charge.
Premium WordPress hosting is free on all Bloom Digital website care plans.
Uptime monitoring consistently checks your website availability and will notify us if your website has gone down. If this becomes a recurring issue, we will fix it. This may incur a charge depending on the reason why your website goes down.
No, they don’t. The care plans look after your hosting and ongoing maintenance. Website care plans do not include content changes, page additions, added functionality such as ecommerce, or design changes. If you require these changes or anything else that is not included in a website care plan, please get in touch.
This is very unlikely if you are making content changes, however it can happen. Let us know and we’ll fix the issue. This time will be charged out at our hourly rate.
Yes you can. Bloom Digital will export and package your website to send to you. If you want your website to stay online, you’ll need to purchase your own hosting and upload it there. There is no refund on pre-paid care plans so we’re happy to look after your website until where it’s paid up to.

Maybe. It will depend on what platform your website is built on.

There is a $300 setup fee as we need to do a lot of work up front to update the site, familiarise ourselves with the software used and ensure it’s secure before moving to our hosting.

Most likely. We can make content changes once we have familiarised ourselves with your website and its software. Get in touch to discuss this with us.
